Transcription workshop
16–17 of April 2009 – Strasbourg
Transcription of protein-coding genes in eukaryotes involves a complicated yet highly coordinated series of events that implicates chromatin, chromatin modifiers, the transcriptional machineries and transcriptional regulators. This short meeting will cover recent data obtained on eukaryotic transcription and its regulation mainly from a structural perspective. Tentative topics will include recent data on basic transcription machinery, on transcriptional regulation as well as discussions on frontiers and challenges in the field.
